VLC with SoundID

If you're using the VLC app this article will help you set it up, so it's ready to work with SoundID app.

VLC Audio Output Settings

1. Launch SoundID app
2. Launch VLC app and playback a music file
3. Tap on More > Settings > Audio > Audio output
4. Change the option to OpenSL ES

SoundID connected notification

The change should take place immediately, and you will notice a SoundID notification in the app drawer. If this didn't happen, try pausing/playing the track, or going through the Audio output change one more time.
